I'm a composer, artist, educator and scholar whose work moves between music, theatre, and community practice. My meditative folk, rhythmic house, and compelling narrative driven compositions invite transcendent connection, introspective reflection, and transformative remembrance.
You can find me writing on the block, on the stoop, on the corner, on the subway, in the laundromat, at the park, at the function, and in the classroom transforming moments of connectivity and curiosity into accessible narratives and experiences set to meditative rhythm based harmonic and melodic content that memorializes universal truths highlighting the contributions and conversations of communities such as a LGBTQIA2S+ Black and Brown (of the global majority) elders, youth, women (including trans, GNC, Gender expansive, Gender Fluid, and two-spirit) and non-neurotypical humans.

My
Artistry
kt creates original, innovative site-specific sonic experiences for stage, film, the classroom and communal spaces using archival media to fuel deep dramaturgical study rooted in a drum circle theory practice and folk form psychomotor pedagogy, using rhythm, movement, and collective participation to foster creativity, connection, and transformation. kt's practice explores how embodied music-making can strengthen both individual expression and community engagement.
